Proposed By-Law Changes 2023

Over the past year, the Board has been working on some revisions to the PNPS Bylaws.

We will be adding a complete copy with the tracked changes shortly to make it easier to see what is being recommended, but in general, the changes include:

• Copy edits and modernizing language
• Clarifying language with education and advocacy
• Growing our statewide chapters
• Granting the board the power to amend the bylaws 
• Eliminating the need for the organization to be audited annually
• Adding language that the Treasurer lead the organization in filing taxes 

This is a draft, some minor edits (grammar, punctuation, etc.) may still be needed. 

We will be asking for a vote at the Annual Meeting on September 30, 2023
