Volunteer Opportunities

Regardless of your level of expertise, there are opportunities available for furthering our mission of educating the public on the need and uses of native plants, especially in the home landscape.

Unless otherwise noted, please contact  [email protected] for details.
Annual Meeting Committee:   We are looking for volunteers to help plan and organize the PNPS Annual Meeting which typically occurs in November of each year.  Duties involve arranging for speakers, coordinating a location, etc.  Please contact  [email protected]  for details.

PNPS Information Booths - Help represent PNPS at events across the state. We would like to participate at more community events and schools to promote native plants. Help us spread the word. We can provide promotional materials and help you get started - just contact Jean. The only experience you need is a love of native plants and enjoy talking with people. Duties involve answering questions from individuals, setting up the display, taking down the display.  Please contact [email protected] for details.

Other Opportunities: Contact the individuals indicated.
Ongoing:  The Penn State Arboretum at University Park is seeking volunteer stewards to help with the development of their Hartley Wood Wildflower Trail -http://arboretum.psu.edu/programs/conservation/
